As part of the configuration of PentagonMail Assistant to support Meridian, you might want to enable the PowerUser Interface.


With PentagonMail Assistant Meridian Filer, Pentagon Solutions provide a PowerUser Meridian Property Page that allows you to view the email details extracted from the email when it was filed into Meridian.

Similar to the PentagonMail Assistant Meridian Configurator, the PowerUser Interface does not come installed by default. So repeat the process used to enable the Configurator, to include the PowerUser Interface:



Please follow the below steps to perform this.

NOTE: These steps only need to be run once by the Meridian System Admin.


Step 1: Launch the Meridian Configurator, right-click "Extensions" and press "Register Extension".




Step 2: Navigate to “C:\Program Files\Excitech Mail\<Version>\Providers\Meridian\PowerUser\”. Then, double-click on “Excitech.Mail.Providers.Meridian.PowerUser.cab”



The extension will become listed. Press "Register".



The below prompt will pop-up. Press "Install".

Note: Admin rights are required to perform the installation.



Once it is finished, there should be a “R” in the box beside the class, as shown below.


You can now close this window.

Step 3: Select the newly added extension and go to "Applies To" tab.



Press “Add”



Select the “Emails” document type created previously and then press "OK".



Now press "Apply" and then "OK".





This concludes the steps to enable the PowerUser Interface.
