Administration

The DWG Processor Application includes the 'Pentagon DOCS Administration Utility'. This can be deployed to the M-Files server and/or a client PC. The application is launched using the shortcut from the 'Pentagon DOCS' program group accessible via the Start menu.

NOTE: Users of the Administration Utility must have at least the 'Change metadata structure' Administrative privilege for the selected vault. If the 'Change metadata structure' privilege is not granted an 'Access Denied' error is displayed when attempting to save configuration changes.

On first launch of the Administration Utility you are prompted to select which Vault you'd like to configure. Each Vault has its own DWG Processor configuration settings.

NOTE: If the selected Vault does not have the DWG Processor installed or any other PentagonDOCS Assistant configurable applications, you will be prompted to select another Vault.

Once set, the selected Vault is retained between sessions. To change the selected Vault, select 'Open Vault' from the 'Vault' menu.

The current Vault is displayed on the Status bar.
