Your system may not have been configured to provide this option but if it has, it can be a good way to ensure that you are using a template that has been approved for use on the project.


Start by double-clicking the view named New Document from Templates. 



This will display a list of projects that have templates configured specifically for them. Double-click your project to then see a list of classes, select the required class and then the templates will be listed, then simply double-click the template you wish to use. Depending on how the template has been configured, many of the properties may be pre-assigned which can save you time and prevent errors.
