Two columns are particularly useful when trying to locate an email containing a particular attachment: the Attachment Names column which contains the names of any attachments and the Att column which contains the quantity of attachments.


In the example below, the column has been filtered for pdf and this has found files that have pdf in their filename or extension; to limit the search to those with a '.pdf' extension be sure to include the full-stop i.e. .pdf.



The Att column shows the number of attachments in each message. If you know roughly how many attachments were in the message that you are trying to find, click the filter icon and then drag the blue dots to adjust the range.



If you know the exact number of attachments, just type the number in the filter row.
