PentagonMail Assistant is typically configured for first time users to index only those locations that they use i.e. the ones they search or file messages into. This is usually fine but if you have set the user's indexer to index all locations to help them get started, it's best to then switch it back to only indexing used locations once they have settled into the job.


So whilst our advice would be to just leave PentagonMail Assistant to index locations when needed, if you have set it to index everything, leave it like that for the first 2 weeks then change it back to only index used locations. This will reduce the index size and the impact on the storage server/s.
