Workflow

When you have checked-in a drawing, the Workflow panel will become active and the current workflow state is indicated on the ribbon.


Clicking the workflow drop-down with present the currently available target workflow states.



Upon selecting a workflow state a dialogue will appear allowing you to enter comments which will be captured in PentagonDocs Assistant.



NOTE: Be aware that the target workflow state that you select may have mandatory metadata requirements that need to be met, if they are not, the workflow transition will not be allowed.


You can choose to re-open the drawing if required, otherwise the drawing will be closed automatically. Comments entered will be displayed in the comments area of PentagonDocs Assistant




Click the comment icon (as highlighted above) and the comment thread for the drawing will be shown. Users can also respond to comments in this area.
