Views are a powerful feature of PentagonDocs Assistant and allow you to view the information in a structure specific to your requirements. The M-Files standard User Guide covers this in detail here: Using Views


Below is an example of a PentagonDocs Assistant View created to display Project ID, Discipline and Form to organise the documents. The view can be browsed as a familiar ‘folder structure’. 


 




The documents are displayed with further metadata in columns that can be sorted. These metadata columns could have also been used in the view to group each State as further ‘folder levels’.


PentagonDocs Assistant is pre-configured with useful views, and your particular vault will also have been further configured with views specific to your company.
