PentagonDocs Assistant Transmittals
PentagonDocs Assistant Transmittals is an application which is part of PentagonDocs Assistant. Transmittals automate the assembly of the issue and creation of the issue sheet allowing a document controller to take the resulting .Zip file in order to issue.
Getting Started
To use Transmittals, the M-Files Client and PentagonDocs Assistant Client software and their prerequisites will need to be installed on the computer. Transmittal functions are accessed through the M-Files Client.
Key Features
Transmittals can be used to:
- Create a New Transmittal
- Set the related Project
- Set the Issuing Company
- Set an Issue Type reason
- Set a reason for issue
- Add recipients for the Issue Sheet and select their Method of Issue
Transmittals can also be re-issued, with any required updates to the recipients and documents.
Transmittals Cover Sheets
The cover sheet is generated automatically, merging earlier choices of company, issue type, issue reason and contacts with the selection of drawings and/or documents to create a PDF document or Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Cover sheets also include a drawing or document revision and status ensuring clarity of information and in what context of purpose.
