This error can occur if you have installed the software for the first time but have yet to log out and back in again to start the background processes.



Resolution: You can start the process by any of the following methods. We have placed them in order of preference i.e. we recommend the first one.


  1. Log the user out of Windows and then log back in
  2. Shut down and re-start the computer
  3. Browse to where Pentagon Mail is installed (typically C:\Program Files\Pentagon Mail\[version]\) then runPentagon .Mail.Launcher.exe
